Terms of service
The terms are not published yet.
1. Who we are and what this is. Meridian MEQ LLC, a Colorado limited liability company doing business as Estrelis, provides Estrelis Spec to Family: you give us a manufacturer's specification sheet, photos or dimensions for a product, and we generate a Revit family file and rendered views of it. These terms cover the web service and the Revit add-in. If you use the service for a company, you accept these terms for that company and you confirm you may do so.
2. Your account and workspace. You sign in with a Microsoft account, or through our sign-in service with your email address, a Google account or a Microsoft account. The first sign-in creates a workspace. A workspace of one person is yours; a workspace with members belongs to the company that owns it, and the company's administrator controls membership. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in.
3. Who owns the family. The family file and its renders belong to the account that generated them, which is the workspace. On delivery we assign to the account holder whatever rights we could claim in a generated family and its renders, as far as the law allows, with no attribution required and no expiry. We keep only the licence we need to store, process and show the family to that account for the service itself: storage, revisions, renders and the evidence log. That is not a licence to use your family for anything else. A family carries a provenance parameter naming Estrelis Spec to Family; that is information, not a rights claim.
4. No sharing, no pooling, no training. We never make one account's families, uploads or renders available to another account or to any third party for its own use, and we never use them to train a model. Processing your files to build your family, through the providers named in the privacy policy under contracts that forbid them from using your data for their own purposes, is not sharing.
5. Your uploads. You confirm you are allowed to upload what you upload: a manufacturer's own sheet, a sheet you have permission to use, or your own photos and drawings. Uploads are yours. We use them only to build your family and to upgrade it to a higher tier, and delete them within 30 days of upload.
6. What you get, and its limits. We generate the family from what the sheet and photos show, at the level of detail you choose. We check each build and show you the result before you accept it. The family is a model, not the manufacturer's certified drawing: you check it against the real product before it goes into a project, and you are responsible for how it is used in your designs. Levels of detail are bounded by what the engine does at the time, and we say which levels fit an item before you choose.
7. Credits and prices. A family costs 1, 2 or 3 credits by level of detail. Prices are shown on the pricing page and at Checkout at the time you buy; those are the prices that apply. Three included changes come with each family; changes after that cost a quarter credit. Credits are not money and cannot be transferred or cashed out.
| What you buy | Credits | Price | Credits expire |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-up grant, once a card is on file | 3 | Free | 30 days after the grant |
| 5-credit pack | 5 | $50 | 12 months after purchase |
| 25-credit pack | 25 | $225 | 12 months after purchase |
| Maker plan | 5 a month | $40 a month | Roll over three months, then expire |
| Manufacturer plan | 20 a month | $150 a month | Roll over three months, then expire |
| Catalog plan | 50 a month | $350 a month | Roll over three months, then expire |
8. The free credits. We grant three free credits once, per card and per sign-in identity (your Microsoft account, or the account you sign in with by email, Google or Microsoft), after a card is saved. Saving the card charges nothing. A second workspace saving the same card gets no second grant.
9. When a credit is charged. Starting a build holds the level's credits. The hold becomes a charge when the family is first shown to you for review. If a build fails before that, the hold is released and nothing is charged.
10. Credits come back when the family is bad. Whenever we know a family is bad, its credits return automatically: a build or check that fails, a change or rebuild that fails, or delivered files that cannot be opened. If you judge a delivered family unusable, tell us and we review it; a credit returned that way is a grant from Estrelis staff, recorded on your workspace.
11. Refunds. Credits already used are not refunded. If you ask for a refund of a pack, we refund the unused credits of that pack at the price per credit you paid for it, never more than the pack's charge. If you ask for a refund of a plan month, we refund by the same rule for that month's credits. A card dispute you win counts as a refund of the disputed charge and takes back the credits it bought. Refunds are issued to the card you paid with.
12. Plans. A plan renews monthly until you cancel. You can change or cancel it any time from Credits; a cancelled plan runs to the end of the month you paid for and does not renew. We may change plan prices with 30 days' notice; the new price applies at the next renewal after the notice.
13. Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe under its terms. We never see or store your full card number. Checkout collects your billing name and address, and records your consent to these terms.
14. Terms changes. When we publish a new version of these terms, the service asks you to accept it before you start new work. Until you accept, you can still cancel a plan, cancel a build, remove a member or revoke an invitation. We tell you what changed.
15. Fair use and suspension. You may not use the service to build a family from material you have no right to use, to probe or overload the service, or to resell generated families as a service of your own. We may suspend a workspace that does, and we say why. Suspension does not take away families already delivered to you.
16. Our service providers. We use Microsoft for sign-in and hosting; WorkOS, for sign-in by email, Google or Microsoft account; Anthropic for the AI that reads sheets and writes specifications; Autodesk Design Automation for Revit to build the family file; and Stripe for payments. Each processes your data only to provide its part of the service, under contract.
17. Availability and support. The service is offered as it is. We aim for it to be available and we tell you when it is not. A build that fails because of us costs you nothing. We answer support by email at support@estrelis.ai within two business days.
18. Liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from a family being used in a project without being checked. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be limited.
19. Ending the account. You can close a workspace any time. Closing deletes its uploads at once and its families and renders after the retention period in the privacy policy, unless you download them first. Unused credits are handled under the refunds clause.
20. Law and disputes. Colorado law governs these terms. Any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts for Arapahoe County, Colorado, and each side may use small claims court where it applies. We prefer to settle things by email first: write to us and we answer within ten business days before either side files.
